Job Description:

Our client in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Sr.WEB FRONT-END ENGINEER with strong experience in JavaScript, CSS and HTML. This is a contract opportunity for 12 months with a possible hire.

The successful front-end engineer will be responsible for implementing interactive features using HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

- Work as a team member on large scale projects, ensuring robust & lasting solutions are implemented.

- Awareness of mobile platform with the ability to build solution that take advantage of the latest features while remaining performant on the latest devices.

- Ability to learn and leverage JavaScript libraries in your solution.

- Ability to use web standards to build solutions using semantic markup and CSS.

- Innovate: Design things that people will blog and Twitter about.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional software development experience with front end web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX)

- Comfortable with source version control software (CVS, SVN, Git)

- Well-versed in fundamental visual and interactive design discipline

- Understanding of all major browsers and the special considerations required for all various quirks.

- Competent JavaScript engineer who understands DOM manipulation.

- Aware of the interplay between JavaScript and HTML & CSS, and can dynamically create, modify, and style elements on a page with ease.

- Able to communicate technical issues with non-technical folks.
